The start screen allows you to create new animation projects or open existing ones.

On the main screen you will see four buttons: “New”, “Open”, “puppet edition” and “Help”.

There are three ways to start your animation:

1. The easiest one is just to tap “NEW” on the Main Menu. There you can find a lot of animated and static ready-made templates. Some of them will play a short intro for you; some are just a collection of predefined objects. You can also create a new one from your pictures or any content from the internet.

2. If want to make a completely NEW PROJECT, tap on “START FROM SCRATCH” in  the menu “NEW”. Tapping on that will switch to the Canvas screen, in which you can create a new project.

You will see an empty black screen – this is the canvas. Don’t panic! Tap on “+” on the bottom bar to add new backgrounds, puppets or templates.You can choose your photos from “iPad photos” or ready-to-use templates. There is also a puppet’s gallery, where you can choose or add “characters” for your movie.

3. You can also OPEN current project, here are all your previously saved projects.You can export them, or edit. To edit projects tap “EDIT” or double tap will load it. Then you can add new puppets, movements or edit tracks. How to add new puppets?  Look at the menu on the right.
