You can build your puppets and set the way they behave or move. Then you can rotate your puppets, scale them, or change their movements on track-view. All in just a few clicks! If you want to learn more about movements, frames and puppet control buttons, check out “Tips& Tricks!”. On the screen below you will find descriptions of all buttons.
This screen is like a videotape recorder. Using this you can record everything that you do with the puppets. The buttons on the bottom bar allow you to add or change puppets, control the recording and export the movie to YouTube, Facebook or Twitter, send by email or just save it.
But first – some basic things: how to move the puppets? You can move, scale and rotate the puppets at the same time. To scale – pinch the puppet. To move it – just move it with your finger. Double tap will mirror the puppet. The two images below show the puppet before and after mirroring.
Please note that the puppet will be mirrored using its original orientation. So if the monster goes up a vertical wall, it will be mirrored so that it goes down the wall (and not “mirrored” upside-down with its legs apart from the wall).
Triple tap will attach the puppet to a puppet immediately below it. This allows the grouping of puppets. Afterwards you can move or scale them just as one object. To ungroup – triple tap again. You can record the movement of this group just as with one puppet.
New PhotoPuppet 2.0 lets you personalize every single movement of your puppets. With edit track you can record and save tracks, save as puppets. Also it’s possible to coordinate autorotation speed and angle limit for wag mode.
The new option of centre rotation point lets you manage precise movements of puppets and characters.
