BUILD YOUR PUPPETS!

 

For now, the “cut-out” feature in the frame editor is just a rudimentary one. This will be updated by us in the near future. If you want to make an ‘elegant’ puppet – you can use Photoshop or Gimp – cut-out the puppet there and save as a PNG file with transparency information. Then send the PNG file (or files) to the email account that you have also set up on your iPad.

Then:

 

From now on, you may use all those pictures just as you would with our templates – while adding the puppets, select “Photo library” – and you will see all of them there. Because you saved them with transparency information, it is also preserved in the photo library, and later in PhotoPuppet.

COLOR PICKER

PhotoPuppet HD also lets you edit your pictures directly in PhotoPuppet. For this you need to open “Puppet Editor”,  select Puppet Gallery and tap “NEW”.

Upload photo from your gallery and then, in Frame editor, tap “REMOVE COLOR” .

Look at the picture below: here you have another tool, a “Color Picker”.

This way you can edit your pictures faster and more easily.

PUPPETS MOVEMENTS : ROTATION


Tap once on the ”Rotation Mode” button, then you will see the rotation frame. If you tap once on the center of the rotation frame, the puppet will move in this direction. If you tap twice, you switch the direction of rotation. If you tap three times, rotation stops.

LAYERS


Some of the puppets have more rotation options. If you tap twice on the puppet, you will see “Frame editor”.

Here you have two modes:

AUTO - you can set some elements to move pernamently:

MANUAL - you can set all of the movements, frame by frame:
