We created a quick & dirty tutorial for anyone interested in how to transfer drawings (such as characters for animation) to PhotoPuppet HD and prepare them for animation. You can scan or photograph any content, divide it’s moving parts and attach them again in PhotoPuppet. Watch our video.
During the video you’ll learn how to:
1. Scan a drawing or take a picture with your iPhone or camera.

2. Save a drawing as a complete puppet for later use.

3. Use a graphics program (like Photoshop or Gimp) to cut a background (you can remove the background in PhotoPuppet HD as well- use “Color picker” in Puppet editor).

4. Mail files with your drawing or picture to your email account, receivable on iPad.

5. Receive photos on an iPad and save them to “Photo library”.

6. Add a drawing as a New Puppet, cut out main and separate body parts.

7. Add again your drawing, cutting out arms and legs and joining them together.

8. Set automatic bodypart movement if you wish.
